Course Summary

Synnergy to create the future AI has come fast and hit big.
AI is already impacting many different professions and roles, including UX.
This course focuses on understanding how AI affects the UXer’s work, both how it can create value and simplify but also the risks that AI can bring.
We alternate with reviews of what it looks like today and probably the near future, with discussions and a demonstration of various AI services.
By understanding the role of AI in UX, you can gain a competitive advantage in the job market.
Many organizations are already actively seeking professionals who can harness the power of AI for improved UX.

Course Objective

To create a basic understanding of the opportunities, problems and potential of AI from a UX perspective, both as a field and for the professional role.

Target Audience

This one-day course is primarily aimed at those who work with, or have a direct relationship with UX issues, Design Thinking, Service Design, Agile or Lean UX, SAFe or similar.

Prerequisites

You know at least the basics of UX and are interested in the field. Having practical experience in UX is an advantage.

You work as a UX or UI designer or perhaps as a product owner, developer or requirements analyst.

Course Details

We are only at the beginning of AI’s development and have infinitely more questions than answers today, but together we will go through a number of questions and examples of use and tools today.

As AI continues to play an increasingly important role in engineering and design, knowledge of how AI supports UX will be a valuable asset, ensuring your career remains relevant and future-proof.

Course content

How AI can improve user experience by personalizing content, predicting user needs and adapting interfaces to individual preferences
How it can help identify and solve UX challenges through AI-driven analysis and user behavior tracking
How AI can support the creation of various documents, such as personas, customer journeys, empathy maps, service design blueprints, etc.
How AI algorithms can effectively perform A/B testing and optimize designs in real-time, ensuring that UX improvements are continuously implemented based on user feedback
Text management and UX writing with AI support, strengths and shortcomings
About the ethical considerations related to AI and UX, including issues such as data privacy, algorithm bias and transparency, helping you create more responsible and inclusive design
As with ethical aspects, what opportunities and obstacles can AI have in terms of sustainable UX and development
Demonstrations of different AI tools and services for, for example, audience analysis and the idea phase of prototyping.
