This course is designed to prepare participants for the Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Management (CTAL-TM). By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Lead and organize risk-based testing and test estimation activities.
  • Develop and monitor test plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage and develop test teams, ensuring appropriate skills and resources.
  • Present business cases for testing, including cost-benefit analyses.
  • Lead test process improvements and test automation strategies.
  • Must have completed the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification.
  • Recommended practical experience in software testing and a minimum of three years in a related role (e.g., test lead or manager).

Exams

  • Format: 50 multiple-choice questions.
  • Duration: 120 minutes (+ extra time for non-native English speakers).
  • Passing Score: 65% required to pass.
  • Certification: ISTQB Advanced Level Test Management certification.
