Course Summary

Together with UX Design, UX Research forms the foundation of User Experience work.
The knowledge of target groups, customers and users, existing and potential new ones, and insights into their needs build a solid foundation for both improvement and innovation.
UX Research has an important role in agile development, which initially lacks these elements.
UXR is a fundamental concept in both Design Thinking and Product Discovery.
In addition to research before starting development, testing prototypes during development is also part of the UX Researcher’s work.

Once you have completed the course, you can:

  • Methods and processes for conducting UXResearch
  • Plan and implement different types of activities within UXResearch
  • Communicate and manage the relationship between UXResearch, Design Thinking and agile development
  • Create and use several of the types of deliverables that are part of the research work. This can be data in the form of personas, scenarios, user stories, user/customer journeys. .
  • Have a basic knowledge of development research through prototype testing. Examples are usability testing, remote testing and guerrilla testing.

The training is aimed at those who will be responsible for, plan or order activities within UXResearch or require services with a high focus on end users. You can e.g. be a UX designer, web / app developer, project manager, Scrum Master or requirements engineer, but also others in, for example, marketing who want to know more about this type of research.

You will also receive all the results of all the exercises produced by you and the other participants, as well as access to our reference library which is continuously updated.

The training does not require any prior knowledge, but experience from investigations, analysis and service development is an advantage.
