Programming for testers

This three-day training program is directed at everyone who need a general and basic understanding of programming. The focus is on object-oriented programming and aims to give you an understanding of the basic building blocks that underlie all programming. The education is mainly aimed at those who work with tests and quality assurance, but lack knowledge and understanding of the basics of programming. The course Programming for Testers is a basic course in programming where you learn principles and techniques in a modern programming language. This knowledge will enable you to read and understand the majority of programming languages. The course also gives you insight into why some errors occur in different programs and how to troubleshoot code, which in turn leads to better support for the developers in the project. The course is also a good basis for testers who want to start with testing automation. The course has predominantly laboratory elements because the aim is to train and increase skills in programming. The course is held with C # .NET as the programming language.

Continuous Integration och testning med Jenkins

In the course, we go through CI step by step, from setting up a Jenkins server and a simple build job, via starting to develop unit tests and module tests and following up on code coverage and other statistics, to fully automating the delivery.   We also go through some other modern software development tools like SonarQube which is used for continuous code quality monitoring and Gerrit which is used for continuous code review.   Continuous Integration, CI, is an increasingly common way to manage the complexity of modern development projects. Instead of writing a number of modules separately and then performing a time-consuming integration phase, often called "big bang", at the end of each project, you test each module separately from the very beginning and make sure that they can work together as early as possible in the development work.   Jenkins is the market-leading system for automating and following up integration and testing. r

ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer

This course prepares you to take ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer Certificate exam. The ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer Certificate Course is a three-day course developing the skills of a test automation engineer (TAE) in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation solutions. About Course This course addresses the official ISTQB Advanced Level Syllabus - Test Automation Engineer. The course includes exercises and practice exams to highlight key aspects of the syllabus and to help participants understand and practice the concepts and methods presented.  An Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer can: Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process. Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to each project and organization. Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture (TAA). Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs. Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach. Create automated test reporting and metrics collection. Manage and optimize testing assets to facilitate maintainability and address evolving (test) systems. This ISTQB accredited training is presented by Grove Software Testing Ltd. Certification ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer ends with a voluntary examination that will be conducted at a later date via SSTB.
