Prior knowledge

While there are no specific student pre-requisite, there is a recommended level of knowledge on technologies that are needed to take full advantage of this course, such as:

  • Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Layer 2/3 Concepts
  • Cisco UCS C-Series Networking
  • Basic VMWare administration
  • VMWare Networking (vSwitch/Distributed vSwitch)
  • Firewall and/or SLB Configuration Principals
  • Management/Security protocols (DNS, SSL Certs, FTP and RBAC)
  • Basic Linux System administration
