Understanding The Internet of Things

The rise of objects that connect to each other and to the Internet - from cars to pacemakers to toothbrushes -- is unleashing a wave of new possibilities for data gathering, predictive analytics, IT automation and more so for cyber-attacks and criminal activities. There are still many corporate organisations that are yet to engage and understand what the Internet of Things (IoT) means for their environment. More so, the drive to higher profit margins is causing security issues to be ignored.

A very good understanding of the Internet of Things concept would be the best starting point for businesses. This is what this seminar is all about. This seminar will explore in great depth the anatomy of the Internet of Things and all of its components whilst focussing on security.

Target Audience:
