Rapid IoT prototyping for Microsoft developers

The Internet of Things is on everyone’s lips these days, but going all in with designing circuit boards, scouting for parts suppliers and licensing before your idea is even tested with a focus-group can be a risky affair!

Audience

Junior and Senior .NET developers that would like to learn how to build hardware prototypes.

Prior knowledge

A few years of programming and a basic understanding of C# .NET

Language

The course is taught in Swedish (Contact us if you prefer English).

Rapid prototyping allows us to quickly create a minimum viable product by combining simple hardware modules and a prototyping platform with a high level language made for fast delivery.

In this 1-day course we will learn how to combine our current knowledge of the C# .NET platform with Windows 10 IoT Core on the Raspberry PI 2 to quickly create prototypes.

Teacher

Karl-Henrik Nilsson is an experienced software developer with more than 15 years of experience that have written code for anything from cellular network base stations to websites. He is a certified Microsoft Solutions Architect and have received the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award.

Karl-Henrik is a frequent conference speaker around Europe and organizes local meet-ups and hackatons.
