Control, manage, track, monitor, and test your microservices with Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh.

Red Hat OpenShift created an enterprise-grade platform with multi-tenant support that makes deploying and scaling microservices applications efficient and repeatable. However, as these architectures become larger and more complex, it becomes increasingly difficult to define how the services should interact with each other. Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh simplifies the management of service communications, enables service tracking, and creates visual representations of communication paths.

Building Resilient Microservice Applications with Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh (DO328) teaches participants monitoring, management, and resilience of services using Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh.

The course is based on Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh 3.1 and Red Hat OpenShift 4.18.

Target Group

Developers and platform engineers who need to manage and secure reliable communication between microservices in a Red Hat OpenShift-based environment.

Prerequisites

The course Red Hat OpenShift Developer II: Building and Deploying Cloud-native Applications (DO288), or equivalent experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
The course Red Hat Cloud-native Microservices Development with Quarkus (DO378), or equivalent experience in building microservices applications, is recommended but not required.
