A project is defined, among other things, as a limited task with a limited budget.
Therefore, it is important to have control over project finances.
Is the project really profitable?
Have we included all costs and is the budget well thought out?
And if it’s not profitable in monetary terms – can we make any other kind of profit?
In our Project Economics course, we focus on the aspects of business economics that most affect the project.
You will first learn some basic economic concepts and then we go in depth with calculation and budgeting.
You will also learn how to make an investment calculation and follow up the outcome of the budget.
The ultimate goal is to give you the tools and knowledge to produce valid calculations and be able to continuously follow up on these and handle any deviations.
The training is primarily aimed at those who work as project managers and need to strengthen their knowledge in the field of budgeting, calculation and follow-up, but also for those who are project owners.
You should have experience in project work and project management and preferably knowledge equivalent to our basic project management course.
