Target Audience

This course is for those who work or plan to start working as a consultant.

The course is aimed at both junior and senior consultants. Junior consultants get an overview of the most important areas and senior consultants get an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and also share it with other participants.

Prerequisites

Everyone is welcome. But the course is mainly suitable for those who work as a consultant, internal project manager, close to consultants or possibly as a client of consultants.

Trainer

This training is delivered in collaboration with Fredrik Hultén.

Fredrik has been active in Management Consulting since 2000, and specifically IT Service Management since 2004. In his consulting role, he has worked with management issues and business development in IT Management. He has usually had the role of project manager, expert support or WS leader and held training courses in, among other things, Agile, Change Management, Consulting and ITIL.

Fredrik has experience from a number of industries and has a solid understanding of what is required to develop a business. He has a very good teaching ability and is a good communicator.

Course Details

This course prepares consultants to successfully meet clients’ needs and expectations.

The focus is on the role and responsibilities of the consultant, needs analysis, and building long-term client relationships. The course covers important aspects such as communication, expectation management and active listening.

Participants will learn effective problem-solving and analysis techniques, self-leadership and personal effectiveness. In addition, teamwork, role allocation, conflict management, and ethical and professional behavior in the consulting world are covered.
