AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Course Summary

This two-day course provides basic knowledge of core Azure concepts; core Azure services; core solutions and management tools; general security and network security; governance, privacy and compliance features; Azure cost management and service level agreements.

After completing this module, participants will be able to:

  • Use an Azure subscription.
  • Plan and manage costs.
  • Explain the options for Azure support.
  • Describe the Azure SLA.
  • Explain the lifecycle of Azure services

This course is suitable for IT staff who are just starting to work with Azure.
This audience wants to learn more about our offerings and get hands-on experience with the product.
The course primarily uses the Azure portal to create services and does not require scripting knowledge.
Participants in this course will gain confidence to take other role-based courses and certifications, such as Azure Administrator.
The course provides an Azure passport and an optional lab environment.
The course combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs.

There are no prerequisites to take this course.
Knowledge of cloud computing is helpful, but not necessary.

Module 1: Cloud computing concepts

In this module you will learn more about cloud computing, different types of cloud models and different types of cloud services.
