This course provides you with the basic knowledge and skills for configuring and managing Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS).
The course is intended to provide the necessary skills to support a wide range of web applications as well as security skills to support other products that use IIS, such as Exchange and SharePoint. In line with that goal, this course will not focus on any specific web application or development practice.
This course is intended for IT professionals who work in a Windows Server-based infrastructure and are going to configure and/or administer Internet Information Services (IIS).
In order to keep up with the pace of the course and assimilate its content, you as a participant are expected to have experience of general Windows administration in a professional company environment, preferably both server and client with elements of maintenance, troubleshooting and PowerShell. No previous experience with IIS is needed.
This course does not have any associated certification. Each participant who completes the course receives a course certificate.
