The exam is a web-based multiple-choice exam, closed book, no external help, timed (90 minutes). 45 questions, 80% required for pass. AI content is included in the exam starting with the AI-Powered version.

What is an Agile Release Train (ART)?
An ART is the basic structure of SAFe – a long-term team consisting of several agile teams (typically 50-125 people) who together plan, commit and deliver value in a common rhythm.
What is PI planning?
PI (Program Increment Planning) is a regular event where all teams in an ART come together – physically or digitally – to plan the next 8-12 weeks of work, identify dependencies and walk away with common goals. SAFe describes it as the heartbeat of ART.
When does an organization need SAFe instead of regular Scrum?
When several agile teams need to be coordinated around common deliverables. Scrum works well at the team level, but SAFe adds the structure needed when ten, thirty or a hundred teams are to deliver interconnected value.
What does Lean Portfolio Management mean in SAFe?
It’s the part of SAFe that connects the organization’s strategy to the agile teams – by managing investments, prioritizing value streams, and ensuring that the right work is done in the right order at the portfolio level.
