Lead a Lean-Agile company with SAFe® – two-day certification course

Do you want to take your agile leadership to the next level and create sustainable change throughout your organization? During this two-day course, you will gain the knowledge and tools required to successfully lead a Lean-Agile company using the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®).

You will learn how to apply SAFe® principles based on Lean, systems thinking, agile development, product flow and DevOps – all to create value faster and improve collaboration.

Course Objective

To perform the role of SAFe® Agilist, participants should be able to do the following:

Understanding the seven core competencies of Lean Enterprise
Become a Lean thinking manager and teacher
Apply the values and principles of a Lean-Agile mindset
Apply SAFe Lean and Agile principles to SAFe roles and ways of working
Creating high-performing teams by defining mission and purpose
Leading the transformation with the SAFe Implementation Roadmap
Support PI planning and the events associated with successful program implementation
Run on-demand releases with the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
Establish alignment with and implementation of strategic themes and Lean Portfolio Management
Coordinate multiple Agile Release Trains and suppliers with one Solution Train

Course Details

Participants in the course gain insights into how to master Business Agility to thrive in the competitive marketplace. They will discuss how to establish team and technical agility and organize and reorganize around the value stream. Participants will also learn and practice supporting and conducting Program Increment (PI) Planning events and coordinating multiple Agile Release Trains (ART).

They will explore the importance of adopting a customer-centric mindset and design thinking for agile product delivery. Learners also develop an understanding of implementing a Lean Portfolio Management function in their company.
