Course Summary

In this project management training you will get a good foundation for managing projects!

The training provides an understanding of what it means to lead a project and motivate project teams, plus many practical tools for you to bring to your own business. You will gain methods and knowledge to organize, plan and manage projects, as well as tools to apply your new knowledge directly.

Target Audience

The training is aimed at both aspiring project managers and project managers with little experience who want to acquire practical tools to use in the profession

Prerequisites

No specific prior knowledge is required.

Certification

This project management training has no certification but is a certification basis for CAPM (PMI) and/or IPMA D certification.

Trainer

Meet Marie Bohlin, one of our project management trainers.

Marie is a civil engineer, communicator and coach with over 25 years of experience in project management, business acumen, customer focus and people drivers. She has worked as a manager in Swedish industry and with practical and strategic communication.

She currently works as a coach and develops and implements training programs in project management, leadership, negotiation and presentation techniques.

Course Details

Managing projects is about getting people with different skills to work together to achieve a common goal.

The main task of a project manager is to deliver results by creating and maintaining a structure and workflow that achieves objectives at the right cost and on time.

This is a very practical and workshop-oriented course. Short lecture sessions are mixed with many application exercises where we work together with realistic cases with examples from current work areas.

Preparing and planning projects

  • Breaking down the project objectives into smaller parts – Work Breakdown Structure

Implementing and closing projects

  • Develop a communication plan
