Project management basic

Course overview

Projects are a common form of work in many organizations, but success requires more than commitment and good intentions. A well-executed project needs clear goals, well-thought-out planning, effective collaboration and ongoing management from start to finish.
In this basic course, you will get a practical introduction to the most important parts of project management. You will learn how a project can be structured, planned, led and followed up in a way that creates clarity for both project managers, project teams, clients and other stakeholders.
The course provides you with concrete tools and working methods that you can use directly in your own projects. We go through the different phases, roles and responsibilities of the project, how to formulate goals and delimitations, plan activities, manage risks and create effective communication.
The training alternates theory with practical exercises, reflection and discussions. The focus is on you understanding projects as a way of working and gaining a secure foundation for being able to contribute to, plan or lead projects in a more structured and professional way.
