The first of two courses covering the basic system administration tasks required to manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers

Red Hat System Administration I (RH124) is designed for IT professionals with no prior experience in Linux system administration. The course provides students with Linux administration skills by focusing on core administration tasks. The course also provides a foundation for students planning to become full-time Linux system administrators by introducing key command-line concepts and enterprise-level tools.

This course is the first in a series of two courses that take a computer professional with no knowledge of Linux system administration to become a fully capable Linux administrator. These concepts are further developed in the follow-up course Red Hat System Administration II (RH134).
