The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (RH342) course provides system administrators with the tools and techniques needed to successfully diagnose and resolve various types of problems. The participants work practically with troubleshooting in different subsystems to identify and fix common errors.
Participants learn to apply the scientific method in a structured troubleshooting process. This method is then used to troubleshoot various types of issues, including boot issues, hardware issues, storage issues, RPM-related issues, network issues, third-party application issues, security issues, and kernel-related issues. At the end of the course, participants complete extensive refresher labs to test their knowledge.
The course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4.
