Course overview

In the role of Product Manager, you will learn at a tactical level to apply the Lean-agile values and practices to ensure that customers and the business get the most benefit as quickly as possible.

The course provides practical skills to be able to identify, describe, prioritize and realize customer needs. You’ll learn how to write Epics and how they break down into Features and Stories. Within the framework of the Release Train and the agile team, the responsibilities and authority of Product Managers and Product Owners are explained.
Particular attention is given to the planning, implementation and follow-up of PI Planning. And finally, you also get an introduction to what Continuous Delivery and DevOps are.

Prerequisites

A basic understanding of agile methods is an advantage, but not a must.

Certification

This course prepares for the SAFe® Agile Product Manager certification. Eligibility to take a degree is included in the course.
