Course Objective

Address security challenges by using Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes in an OpenShift cluster environment.
Customers want to learn how Red Hat Advanced Cluster Security for Kubernetes (RHACS) can help them solve their security challenges. However, their security team may lack experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift, which creates challenges in implementation. In particular, security teams have the following needs:

  • Integrate RHACS with DevOps practices and understand how it’s used to automate DevSecOps, so teams can operationalize and secure their supply chain, infrastructure, and workloads.
  • Evaluate compliance based on industry-standard benchmarks and get guidance for action.
  • Apply vulnerability management, policy enforcement, and network segmentation to protect workloads.

RHACS customers may already be using external container registries and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. They need to integrate RHACS with their existing external components to achieve their safety goals.

Upon completion of the course, you will receive 45 days of extended access to hands-on lab environments for all courses that include a virtual environment.

Note: The course is offered as a 3-day classroom training, a 4-day virtual training or as self-paced self-study. The length may vary depending on the format of the training. For full course information, schedule and prices, select your seat and then click on “get started” in the menu on the right.

Target Group

  • Security specialists responsible for identifying, analyzing, and addressing security threats in Kubernetes environments.
  • Infrastructure administrators who are responsible for managing and securing Kubernetes clusters and ensuring that the infrastructure is robust and meets security standards.
  • Platform engineers who work on DevOps and DevSecOps principles and integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure secure deployment and continuous monitoring of containerized applications.
