A high-performing team is characterized by trust, clear roles and a shared responsibility for results. This training provides tools to build teams with high motivation, collaboration and commitment. It is based on Susan Wheelan’s theory of high-performance teams and the four phases of development, focusing on the leader’s role in each phase. Methods and tools are presented to accelerate the team’s development towards higher levels of performance and to adapt leadership to the team’s maturity.
After completing the training, participants should be able to:
Managers, team leaders and project leaders responsible for developing teams and work groups.
Basic management experience is recommended.
At the end of the training, you will receive a course certificate confirming your participation and the knowledge you have acquired.
Emelie Palmér and Annika Stålhandske, have long experience of leading remotely. They have a combined 30 years of leadership experience and for the last six years have both led teams spread geographically with limited opportunities to meet. They have been able to build teams thanks to a strong focus on HOW we work together in a virtual world. Emelie has a background in consulting and has worked internationally for many years. Annika has a background in production and logistics. They have both led and been part of management teams where digital has been a prerequisite for success.
The course mixes theory, group exercises and reflection. The work is experience-based and gives participants the opportunity to try and evaluate methods directly in relation to their own team and leadership.
Digital training material is included. For distance learning, a computer with camera and microphone is required.
Conducted as distance learning or in classrooms.
