This course teaches Azure Solution Architects how to design infrastructure solutions. Course topics cover governance, compute, application architecture, storage, data integration, authentication, networks, business continuity, and migrations. The course combines lecture with case studies to demonstrate basic architect design principles.
Audience Profile
Successful students have experience and knowledge in IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance. Students also have experience designing and architecting solutions.- Job role: Solution Architect

Please note - The labs for MAZ305 are not hands on, they are discussion-based exercises where the learners examine and discuss design and architecture best practice. This course is not focused on the configuration and administration of Azure services in the Azure Portal - please see course MAZ104 for hands on labs covering these topics.

- General application design concepts such as messaging and high availability
Learners who are intending to sit the AZ-305 exam should be aware that AZ-104 is a required pre-requisite certification.
