It also defines portfolio, program, and project management, along with the MoP frameworks' portfolio management model, principles, cycles, and practices. Finally, it highlights the benefits of portfolio management and addresses several common misconceptions.
Module 2: The Strategic and Organizational Context Learning Objectives
Module 2 looks at the context in which portfolio management operates and, specifically, the functions with which portfolio management must effectively coordinate its activities in pursuit of strategic objectives.
The module also explains key aspects of the relationships between portfolio management and other corporate functions and activities that share a focus on delivering strategic objectives.
